Buck’s Labradors are DNA tested through Embark and are cleared of or are noted carriers (non affected) of over 243 genetic diseases. This allows us to know not only their DNA for proper breeding, but also lets us know if they are carriers of any genetic diseases.
All pups are AKC registered, vaccinated, dewormed, and have a 26-month health guarantee to be free of all genetic diseases of the hips, elbows and eyes offering full registration.
American & British puppies have their dewclaws removed and are up-to-date on worming and vaccinations by the time they’re ready to go home.
We strive to provide hard working families high quality Labradors at a fair price. In addition to the care and socialization provided we perform health clearances on our adults to ensure healthy genetics for our puppies. These tests include OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) x-rays for hips and elbows with a rating of EXCELLENT, GOOD and NORMAL and OFA for heart, CERF/CAER for eyes by an ophthalmologist, Optigen (prcd-PRA), CNM (centro nuclear myopathy), EIC (exercise induced collapse), RD/OSD (retinal dysplasia/oculo skeletal dysplasia) and cardiac testing. This not only rest assures us about our pups, but allows us to give you a high quality dog that is guaranteed to be protected.
